A day after former Newt Gingrich called Donald Trump's latest comments on Judge Gonzalo Curiel "inexcusable," the presumptive Republican nominee fired back at the former House speaker, who has largely been supportive of his candidacy.
"As far as Newt is concerned, I saw Newt," Trump told "Fox & Friends" on Monday after the show played clips of Hillary Clinton and Gingrich denouncing his remarks speculating that Curiel's Mexican heritage represented a conflict of interest in the cases against Trump University over which he is presiding. "I was surprised at Newt. I thought it was inappropriate what he said."

Trump comes across as whiny with this 'inappropriate' complaint. Gingrich is free to speak his piece, and Trump is free to say "Gingrich is wrong". Trump would come across much better if he would do so. And I'd agree with him.
Nonsense. This is more of the same, and you’re falling for it.
Remember the “blood” libel?
Yeah, Newtie. It is not Curiel's Mexican heritage which Trump is questioning, it is his fealty to a racist supremacist organization called La Raza. This is akin to a card carrying KKK member (are there any of those anymore?) presiding over a case where a prominent black man is defendant.
Go away troll.
I'm not sure that a former Speaker of the House exactly qualifies as just one of "We, the People," whom Trump wants to serve. I would say his situation and influence are in reality rather different from yours or mine or any of the regular folks not tied up in the world of Washington politics.
“Shillary claims Curiel is as American as she is”
While Curiel is an “anchor baby American CITIZEN,” he’s still ethnically a Mexican. So Trump calling him a Mexican is entirely appropriate, particularly in the context of his La Raza Lawyers connection. While actually, Curiel is racially a Hispanic, since he thinks Mexicans are “The Race,” it’s only right to call him what he thinks he is!
Newt has managed to step on his d-ck again! Trump needs to look elsewhere for a VP.
Go away newbie troll.
I couldn't understand why Trump didn't mention "La Raza" and tell everyone that it means THE RACE. IOW it shows that the skank judge is a bleeping corrupt RACIST.
However, when Trump didn't mention it by name on two Sunday shows, I figured he's setting it up and will spike it when he's ready and when it will have the most impact. Especially making the actual racist reporters and 'Pee folks look like the ahos they are. Trump knows what he's doing.
I don’t care what POLITICO thinks, but I do care what Trump is quoted as saying.

You notice how they're giving a "drive by" to the la raza connection in case this falls through on them, again?
There ya go ... nice, rational argument. Hot step yourelf to Hell, boy.
Just last week, I was reading about how brilliant Newt is...
“Speak no ill of fellow Republicans”? That doesn’t help you here.
We’ve had years of lukewarm, “moderate” Republicans. Trump fights.
But here all he said was what Newt said was inappropriate.
You and the MSM act like he told Newt to go P*** up a rope.
I’m happy `McCain Jr’ was flushed out now. Trump is making a lot of people unmask.
“According to FoxNews [McCallum and Hume], he is not a ‘Mexican’ but is an ‘American’ because he was born of Hispanic parents in the US.”
That’s become the Party Line among the concern trolls in the media including the conservative media entertainment complex.
The judge is “from Indiana” and his active membership in the racialist LA RAZA group gets swept under the rug.
Republicans are so stupid. Stop giving media material. You’ll never find Democrats criticizing their own in public
What office does Gingrich hold? None, obviously. FORMER congressthing, sure. FORMER. Now he's just a relatively prominent citizen. Criticizing a (would-be) public servant is not 'inappropriate'. The content of the criticism may be wrong, but the act of criticism goes with the territory. Trump better figure that out. President of the United States is not the same as CEO of XYZ Corporation.
He was asked his opinion; he gave it. This is how Trump rolls. YOU get used to it.
