California state lawmakers are one step closer to expanding coverage under Obamacare to illegal immigrants, sending a bill to Gov. Jerry Brown’s desk that would allow those living in the state to illegally buy health insurance on the exchange with their own money.
The California legislature passed a bill last week setting in motion a process to eventually allow illegal immigrants living in the state to purchase private health insurance through its state-run exchange, Covered California.
Illegal immigrants cannot and would not qualify for federal subsidies available to lower-income Americans under Obamacare.

We tried to stop things like this with Prop 187.

I know for a fact that most foreign military students at NPS in Monterey qualified for, and obtained, Medical. The only thing that mattered was having a California address, not a SSN.
I think an unknown gas is seeping out of the fault lines over there, that’s the only logical explanation I can come up with.

Ever been to an emergency room in SoCal?
No, but when my father was doing his residency for a hospital administration degree, he had to spend a lot of time in County General in L.A. He had some horror stories.
I liked the ones about illegals coming in with the baby being strapped up inside the mother with a sheet so it would not come out until they were in the hospital and be an anchor baby.
