These same ‘consultants’ are position themselves so Trump and the normal GOP machine will pay them big bucks for their frequently failed ‘game’.

Trump is playing this campaign his way. The serious part of the campaign -- when undecideds choose up sides -- is after Labor Day... which is when Trump will differentiate from Clinton and sell his & Republican platform.

Prior to that, in July, the conventions happen, and in August everyone is on vacation.. This is time for splashy headlines -- VP and advisor selection, the rumored foreign trip, photo-ops with experts.

Trump is not letting the momentum go in June. He's bringing up controversial issues that have been ignored -- La Raza = KKK for Mexicans & Reconquista, Hillery's Legal issues (e-mail, pay for play/Clinton Foundation) to paint Clinton & Democrats as not in the best interest for "real Ameicans".
