The real reason is that she would have to lie under oath to make the case.
The OP has been excused but is not off the hook. Trump will have recourse against her for attorney fees and damages should the class action fail.
Trump didn’t get the summary judgement he wanted because the judge ruled there are facts in dispute, like whether or not Trump University was accredited, the quality of the mentoring program and the degree to which Trump himself was involved with hiring instructors.
