If they try this and disenfranchise millions of primary voters. there won't be enough rope in Cleveland for all of the needed hangings, plus Clinton would win in a landslide.

“Clinton would win in a landslide”
And the GOPe is perfectly fine with that.
Flake is a Republican John Kerry.

"The rules committee is really not going to meet until right before the convention and they are maybe going to have a rule that is different than it is today," said another GOP senator who declined to be named. "As it is right now, I'm sure there are a lot of thoughts going on behind closed doors as to what they can do in establishing final rules for the convention."

They think that anger would last one election, then back to normal. They have no idea how long the bitterness of negating all the primaries would last. No idea at all how much they are already hated. It’s because they live in a self congratulatory echo chamber.

Trump said “he’s a Mexican” in regards to his allegiance ... not as a racial slur
Its not like saying “he’s a n****r” to a black person
He meant he is associated with Mexican groups who want to take over the USA.

I honestly don't think they care. So long as the Democrats remain corrupt, easily bought, and willing to cut them in on the loot. Of course when the Bernie True Socialist Believers take over the Dem Party they're in for a rude awakening.

Isn’t Flake the only ‘Republican’ who was invited to join Obama’s group trip to the Mandela Memorial in Africa? They already recognize him as one of their own, but under temporary guise as a RINO. He’s a lacky of John McCain.
To: Truth29
Go right ahead, GOPe. All it will cost you, after all, is the House, the Senate, and any meaningful power at the federal level for another generation (or more).
You'll become an afterthought party, no more consequential than the Libertarians or the Greens.

Boy, Obama has said or did dozens of more overtly racist things. Trayvon, Henry Louis Gates, Freddie Gray...Obama assumes white people in power are have it in for minorities. There isn’t even a debate on this.

House Speaker Paul Ryan described Trump's charge against the judge as the "textbook definition of a racist comment." Considering that neither "Mexican" nor "Hispanic" are races, Ryan should check out a new "textbook" for his summer reading.

Would a Cruz candidacy exposed all of these sellouts like Flake? It would of been business as usual for the ruling class. Cruz is one of them too though he went great lengths to hide it.

That controversy is just something they have seized upon. If it were not that, it would be something else.
The GOPe will definitely try something at the convention. It won’t work out like they have planned, just like everything else they have planned.

I fear you are correct. The corrupt GOP wing of the uniparty is much more comfortable with Hillary than Trump. Trump is running against the Rats and half of the GOP because is for America first, not a globalist stooge.

I wasn’t keen on Trump, but he has received the votes in Republican primaries, thus he is it.
Perhaps the republicans who don’t like him should make sure that there is no such thing as an “Open Primary” and make all Republican primaries closed to only registered Republicans being permitted to vote in them.
