The Repubs are happy to be a losing lame-duck party that walks around hanging its head. It’s an excuse to use their office as a no-show job. They’re freaking out at the prospect of having to actually do some work when Trump gets in.
Yes, they continue to get their perks with out taking any responsibility.
They are like an employee who could move up in a business but declines because of laziness and not wanting more responsibilities.
In the case of GOP politicians, they can still add to their million$ (and retire with a large income from taxpayers) until the country goes completely belly up.
Then some of them will go Wha hoppen? and jump out of windows.
