In a memo penned for Tuesday’s City Council meeting, Oliverio said Police Chief Eddie Garcia and City Manager Norberto Dueñas have still not provided “any written update” on what occurred four days after media outlets and attendees with smart phones captured people shouting racist epithets and brawling in the streets.
“It has been four days since violence related to a political rally took place on our downtown,” Oliverio wrote. “The city council has not been provided any written update from the city manager or police chief. Presently none of us have all the information required to completely assess exactly what transpired, what else may or may not have been done, or what should be done in the future should similar circumstances arise.”

I know what was done - it’s on video. Terrorists, some citizens, some illegal, threatened and physically attacked innocent Americans. Police followed illegal orders and did nothing to protect the victims of those terrorists.
I know what should be done next time. When terrorist thugs assault innocent victims, the thugs should be shot down where they stand. Whenever government fails in its duty to protect citizens, it is our responsibility to step in and protect ourselves.
Note to mercenaries who do this for the fun and for the $15 an hour: Is the joy of a mob attack and the bonus money to get high afterwards worth your lives?

Let me spell it out for you, Councilman. Your city has a Mayor and a Police Chief who colluded to allow a riot to take place because it furthered their political ends....
REALITY CHECK Clearly, their lawyers have warned them....dont put anything in writing. If they tell the truth on incidence reports....they're screwed. If they falsify incidence reports....they're screwed.
Now if state/city law specifies official incidence reports must be filed so many days subsequent to the incident, and Garcia and Liccardo ignored the law,........they should be charged as domestic terrorists under the Patriot Act.

Rawlings-Blake, Stephanie, Baltimore Mayor - when one reporter asked to comment on how Baltimore police responded to the protestors she said she instructed officers to allow protestors to express themselves and that “we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well.” Politicians who allow this are accomplices and should be prosecuted.
You are most correct ,,,, doing nothing is like a free ticket to continue this unlawful behavior and it’s not a simple oversight ,,, it’s damn well intended to create the obvious results . This election is the most important period of our countries history since the Revolutionary and Civil War battles to advance our constitutional freedoms .
