Washington (CNN)Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday he is "filled with furious anger" over a case that has attracted widespread attention after a judge handed down a six-month sentence to the attacker.
"I am filled with furious anger — both that this happened to you and that our culture is still so broken that you were ever put in the position of defending your own worth," he wrote in a letter published on Buzzfeed.\
"It must have been wrenching — to relive what he did to you all over again," Biden added. "But you did it anyway, in the hope that your strength might prevent this crime from happening to someone else. Your bravery is breathtaking."
Outrage has erupted over a California judge's decision to give Brock Turner, a former Stanford University swimmer, a six-month jail sentence for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman in January 2015. Prosecutors had asked that Turner be sentenced to six years in prison, and critics are blasting the decision as too lenient.

will he do the same for the victims of bill clinton?

Shall we hold our breath for him to get around to sending sympathy letters to Bill Clinton’s victims? Or to the adult woman who got raped when she was a child only to have Hillary Rodham falsely testify on an avadavat that some unnamed experts had said the girl had a history of making up stories and inviting rape?
I was listening to The 5 today and juan williams was as irate at this rape and the rat getting a light sentence. I wanted to ask juan.. and now joe... why are you in the corner of a rapist’s wife, who did her best to destroy the rapist’s victims? why do you allow her to run for President of the United States? It’s okay only when you say it’s okay?
can Joe Biden go actually work on things that matter to the effin country (like trade with China, radical Muslim terror, etc.), instead of a judge doing his job the way he’s allowed to do without the liberal PC media getting involved?
The kid deserves jail, but no, he’s not some urban serial rapist gangbanger thug and menace to society. ISIS, jihad, communism, and terror are tho.

But you can’t criticize judges. It is an attack on our legal system and the rule of law. Everyone knows that the decisions of judges are impartial not affected by race, ethnicity, religion, or educational ties.
But Joe supports liberal judges who let the rapist get off with a slap on the wrist.
Oh and he supports Bill Clinton.

If he’s saying her statement should be required reading for everyone, it’s likely to end up that way, especially in schools.

Can someone fill me in on the logic behind the rationale that a woman is held completely not responsible for what she does while drunk and yet a man is held fully responsible for what he does while drunk?

Her voice is the most important. Her letter stood out. So now Joe is going to overshadow her voice. Please leave her alone and stop trying to take her moment away from her. Mail it to her privately.
Joe Biden, best friend of Teddy Kennedy. While drunk Teddy didn’t rape May Joe, he purposely refused to seek help to save her in order to have the time to cover his ass.
Mary Joe’s words can’t sear you soul because she wasn’t able to give a victim’s impact statement.
He doesn’t believe Bill Clinton raped anyone. (Very few do outside of the Arkancide circles.) You don’t extend righteous anger on behalf of people that you feel are not actually victims. Q.E.D. He won’t make any such displays.
