There is little vetting of phone program candidates.
I’ve walked right up to the Obamaphone sub-contractor poverty pimps at Costco and other Box stores and asked them what qualification proof you needed to say, get a phone for your elderly parent.
They were very dismissive of income and gov’t issued ID attestation evidence.
Just like urban vote registration and polling places.
It’s all a gimme dat version of the knockout game.
Whitey taxpayer bleed a lot.

Last I heard the record for one person was over 50 Obama phones. I think they stopped counting.
Anyone else remember when the program was started, it was just for land line phones?

I was down in Fla. just a few months ago. A woman was standing on the steps going up to the County Gov’t building beside a little table asking people if they wanted a free cell phone paid for by the Gov’t. TANSTAAFL - There Ain’t No Such Thing As A Free Lunch.

It should be mentioned that the first “Obamaphone” was handed out when George Bush was still President and Jeb Bush was invested in the company that made the phones, trac phone owned by a Mexican man named Carlos Slim who happened to be the richest man in the world from 2010-2013.
