Through the tulips, indeed. I peeked at a couple of threads on DU... I suppose it's no surprise that for most of the commetners there, this is mostly a combination of Trump's fault and the NRA. Trump has created an atmosphere of general misogyny, racism, heat and fear. The NRA keeps guns available.
There were a few points made about Islam, but they were swamped out by the "you can't blame a religion for the acts of a few" posts.
My Point: It's clear to most of us here what happened and what steps need to be taken to minimize future events. But, these people think differently (if stupidly) and they vote!
