We’ve had plenty of political critters who use words that have been carefully crafted to avoid controversy. Trump is turning the attack reflex of the legacy media against them, in effect using them to propagate his message for free.

Seems like every day there’s another Trump “gaffe”, blood coming out of her, whatever or a Taco Bowl on Cinco de Mayo. Yet Trump keeps picking up steam.

It’s a new kind of campaign. I’m starting to think the old rules don’t apply.

..... The words don't have to be carefully crafted to avoid controversy .... He could still say what he wants .... just have an assistant look it over to prevent having to have somebody forced to do damage control after it is vomited out onto social media. Damage is still damage no matter which way you look at it.
