Not true. The cop unions would love you to think that. But it's safer to be a cop now than ever.

It is not safer to be a dog or a homeowner when the cops show up ;)

Cop training needs to include a contingency for factoring in that the cop is possibly at the wrong address, in every house call they engage. This is getting too frequent with innocent citizens and/or their pets dying needlessly and little ones terrorized for life.
