Oldest grandson used to work about 40 miles from there. Said area where he worked is almost total illegals from Mexico, Central and South America including all their families. Employers even provide low cost housing. Few English speaking residents in small town and only one other person spoke English on his work crew. He left after one year and returned to Oklahoma.

There's Amarillo at the top of the panhandle in orange and Lubbock in orange right below. They're up and down I-35 from Dallas to San Antonio and to the east (nothing good ever comes from east of I-35).
