Donald Trump Picked the Wrong News Editor to (bleep) With
Esquire via Yahoo News ^ | June 14, 2016 | Charles Pierce

Posted on 06/14/2016 2:24:48 PM PDT by Mean Daddy

Holy hell, even I didn't know that He, Trump was dumb enough to cancel the credentials of The Washington Post.

But Tiger Beat On The Potomac was all over it.

"Based on the incredibly inaccurate coverage and reporting of the record setting Trump campaign, we are hereby revoking the press credentials of the phony and dishonest Washington Post," Trump posted on Facebook. Trump had posted to Facebook nearly 20 minutes earlier "to show you how dishonest the phony Washington Post is." "I am no fan of President Obama, but to show you how dishonest the phony Washington Post is, they wrote, 'Donald Trump suggests President Obama was involved with Orlando shooting' as their headline," Trump said. "Sad!" In case you missed it, here's what the Vulgar Talking Yam was going on about. He went on the electric teevee machine this morning and said,

"Look, we're led by a man that either is not tough, not smart, or he's got something else in mind. And the something else in mind - you know, people can't believe it," the Post quoted Trump as saying on Fox News Monday morning. "People cannot, they cannot believe that President Obama is acting the way he acts and can't even mention the words 'radical Islamic terrorism.' There's something going on. It's inconceivable. There's something going on."

Maybe in exchange for Trump allowing a WP reporter to attend his events, the WP should allow a Trump reporter free, and total access to the WP newsroom so that he can write about them. Sounds fair to me.

So in other words, Charles Pierce is saying if you mess with the Washington Post, they’ll try to influence the outcome of the election?

I raTHer think that doesn't always work out that well for the journolist involved.

The unethical propaganda class certainly has a remarkable sense of arrogant entitlement and an a highly inflated sense of self-importance. The WaPo had already dropped lower than the National Enquirer in the accuracy and fairness of it’s coverage of Trump. What can that “newspaper” do to Trump in revenge now—put out 10 dishonest hit pieces per day instead of 8?

The media is by and large (although not entirely) simply dangerous, traitorous, manipulative trash that has perpetrated untold harm on this country and on many innocent victims. I do look at “reporters” as generally worse than your average felon, because the damage they do is so much more extensive on average.

Esquire magazine.

The only people still getting Esquire magazine are those people with too few sky miles to get something more worthwhile like Moth Collecting Monthly.

This is precisely why I like Trump.

He does not care how powerful or politically correct an organization is.

Trump tells the truth. If they want to lie about him, he will call them on it.

The Washington Post and the little punk author here can make up all the lies they want. Trump is not afraid of them.

I started reading Esquire in the barber shop 40 years ago. then it was all about the perfect martini, the most manly and stylish Hollywood men, and living it up as a bachelor. When did it become a Marxist rag and fellators of Obama?

Indeed it is! I’m not even a Trump fan, but the way he interacts with presstitutes commands my respect.

LOL! I was just thinking the same thing. Of course Donald knows who he’s against.

That’s the whole point!

“The Dinosaur Dead Tree media overestimates its worth again.”

Its worth, its power, its influence, its persuasiveness, its everything.

They don’t realize they could be hanged from lamp posts and the responses would for the most part range from indifference to celebration.

Since the Vietnam war, they have ridden for a fall. A very hard fall.

I drive by that banner every day on the way to and from work. He’s swapped it out now, though. Since Trump clinched the nomination, the cartoon Trump is now jumping up in the air with his sword swung back in attack mode. I’m guessing that, when Trump wins the election, it’ll change to Trump standing triumphantly atop the dragon.

“When did it become a Marxist rag and fellators of Obama?”

A: About the same time Scientific American dispatched with ‘scientific’ in favor of leftist, popular notions.

Magazines doomed to failure.

What does it tell you?

Without knowing anything else about the guy; I’d put “worked as forest ranger” in the credit column.

Well, the most obvious suspects are the Washington Post and the NY Times, and maybe 20 or 30 other major liberal papers.

But I think he was smart not to try to bash them all. Just pick one, and don’t mention the others. The Compost is probably less powerful than the Times, but equally important. So it’s a pretty good pick, IMHO.

While I think that Fox News with its tag-line “fair and balanced, you decide...” caught the mood of the nation, the typical MSM like the WA Post has not yet figured out that in this Internet age where Drudge and Free Republic are the primary news screening sources for many that they the WA Post need to not take sides. Trump punishes those that cross him.

Look at the litigation over the Miss American Latin American TV coverage. Look at Trump not going to one of the Presidential debates. He doesn't hesitate to “carve” a pound of flesh out of a media giant if they cross him. Even Fox and Megan Kelly learned that they need to “play nice” and not be biased against Trump.

Go Donald.

The Washington Compost banned? Who will spew piles of streaming disinformation now? What could the man be thinking? His only option after this is to kneel in front of the mental midgets at the Huffington Post and perform certain acts of supplication.
