We should do like they do in Puerto Rico when they vote to decide their relationship to the US: provide three choices, none of which is supported by a majority, so that nothing ever changes but we get a bit of excitement every time it comes up for a vote:
1. Keep current split between DST and standard time
2. Always stay on DST
3. Always stay on standard time

That's okay with me. What I want is for the government to stop giving me two weeks of jet lag twice a year, to no purpose. Statistics show more car accidents and heart attacks in the days just after the time change.
