Those who control the Times are committed to a world view--not an American view--which does not include the continued existence of the republican federation of free States that the Founders called "America." I would suggest that the ideologically driven crack-pots understand far better than you give them credit.

The problem is that most Conservatives have a hard time understanding pure evil, even after all the examples since the Jacobins almost destroyed France in the early 1790s, including the Marxist, Fabian, Bolshevik, Nazi, etc.--the different versions of the same compulsion driven malady.

These people want to suppress all dissent from a make believe world that appeals to their fantasy driven neuroses.

Very well put.

I am one conservative who has an easy time recognizing pure evil.

(It may be because, as a minister, I understand the fallen nature of humanity: Underestimating the human capacity for sin is always a mistake.)
