That is awful.
I too am glad there is closure and remains to bury. I pray for the grieving family.
I wonder how many signs there were that said not to go in the water? Terrible tragedy. Now this is a true tragedy.
Feeling very sad for the parents and family. Prayers will be said. I’ve read that the father fight with the gator. I can’t imagine the rage and frustration when he knew the gator had won.
I don’t really blame the family at all. They’re from Nebraska. I wouldn’t expect gators to be on their mind, especially during a stay at Disney World..even with signs. I’m sure some will argue that point.
I don’t know how parents can survive this grief.
“Some people said a ‘No Swimming’ sign is hardly sufficient if alligators could be lurking.”
Perhaps we should just fill the entire thing in with concrete.
Words escape me on this.
Darn guns again.
Why didn’t the alligator feed after killing the boy?
Oh how my heart hurts for the parents! Prayers going up for them.
second time parental neglect results in death of child, and animals are killed and blamed. The parents should feel bad and guilty over their obvious neglect. This should not be hung on disney, the parents should be held accountable.
In southern California you have to beware of the “animals” that surround the Disney property.
Why allow a 2 year to play in the water at 9:30pm?
You wouldn’t do so in Nebraska or anywhere else.
Absolute disaster.
If kids aren’t safe at Disneyworld, then, for goodness’ sake....
