The difference is that Watergate was factual, and the stories were for the most part true. The ComPost treatment of Trump is much different.

But did the Post attack Nixon and deliberately print lies about him for a year? If it did, Nixon would have been justified in barring them.

But Nixon, as President, DID refuse to hold press conferences for months and months on end.
If I recall my presidential history, reporters have often been kept off the candidate’s or president’s plane, etc. Not really uncommon.
And Nixon lost
Nixon was missing 8 minutes of tape, likely a human error.
Hillary destroyed 30 thousand Top secret emails, and left the rest exposed to espionage and lied about it.

When you assign 25 reporters to dig up meaningless dirt on Trump more than 25 years old that has no relevance but not one reporter to investigate the Clinton foundation, the wall street speeches, the Clinton charities, the deals with foreign countries including selling USA uranium to the Russians. Clinton taking payoffs from foreign governments in exchange for policy at State Dept.
You guys don’t deserve press credentials your in the Clintons pocket, not fair reporters, your part of her campaign.
