Liberia is a good place for him to visit. Citizenship is restricted to those of black African descent. Liberia has a caste-system, slave-heritage elites versus indigenous poor. The Government is heavy-handed, resulting in a civil war and numerous conflicts over land and over forests. Only citizens can own property. Many types of businesses can only be owned by a citizen. In spite of resources, a large chunk of Liberia’s economy is foreign aid. According to a press release in 2013 (linked below), deportation of illegal Liberians from the USA would “devastate the Liberian economy.” because they remit “more than $6M a month to Liberia”. (yes, there are Liberian refugees)
