I was in hopes of a rousing, exciting give ‘em Hell speech that better matches TEXAS can-do spirit and inclinations.
I did too, but I have to come to realize that the man’s instincts are so on point that I just roll with it now.
Not saying he always gets it right, but I was expecting the same as you were. Once he was really going with the ‘theme’ I sat back and enjoyed the heck out of it, laughed my a** off!
