England certainly has a lot of fairies, but they also have a higher violent crime rate than the U.S. and have for a long time.

Denial is rampant in Jolly Olde.

Yeah. The typical reaction would to be emotionally distraught -- this guy, not so much. Hubby was lost in an un-bereaved bereavement. Stepford-like and politically clinical. Really weird.

Why the obvious political advertisement, even IF one is involved in politics or Hollywood?

HA! But it IS sorta "the land of daisies and fairies," ain't it? ;-)

Dunno how they can be so shocked ( “How can this happen in England??”) Didn't that Moose-limb decapitate the Bobbie in broad daylight as immediate witnesses were relatively unmoved? The cognitive dissonance is strong over there.
