Strangely, it brings some old movie with Charlton Heston and Roddy McDowall to mind. There was a scene with Heston yelling, and the Statue of Liberty only partially visible above beach sand.
The Texas Legislature doesn’t convene until January 2017. The first filing date for all bills is November 13th. So, where is this bill again? Just sayin’.

This effort seems to overlook the fact that the shooter in Orlando PASSED a background check. Nothing being suggested would have changed a thing.
And along with everything else wrong and unconstitutional about this proposal, it would have done nothing to stop the Orlando Islamic massacre, nor will it do anything to stop future events of the same.
I support background checks—for anyone running for congress. They need to pass a test on constitutional law written by a neutral party—I nominate Hillsdale college. They need to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of and competence in the use of firearms, since they will be voting on gun-related matters. They need to have demonstrated support during their lives for the support of every amendment in the bill of rights. They need to undergo screening for membership in subversive organizations. They need to undergo psychological tests, with results released to the public. I would bet their MMPI “sociopathy” scores are typically through the roof, right up their with their scores on the “narcissistic personality disorder index.” Then, an IQ test, with results published.
Chimps have more brain power than this tard.
