Guess sending out a Democrat to murder 49 other Democrats with a gun didn’t work. Time to try something else.
And most have nothing to do with terrorism - yet their cases remain open while actual terrorists just need to lay low for a few months and their cases get closed and purged....
Once again, I don't think Trump will jump the shark on this but it can't hurt to send a message to remind him of his promises, that the no-fly hit list is a false meme and that the Constitution does not contain a "Noble Cause" clause...
I am not worried about Trump on this issue, he called the NRA to ask for advice on the issue Trump is on a learning curve NRA will teach him the facts of life and Trump will see the light!!!
I believe so too - never hurts to touch base and give some input though.
Many of us were pissed that the homo-shooter was let loose and allowed to do his thing and thought the FBI should have done something to hamper him. Before getting to actually think it through, it seemed like putting folks like him on some list to make it harder to do what he did made sense.
Then reality set in and as I like to keep saying, the Constitution has no "Noble Cause" clause....
The problem with the list IS if you buy a gun you can be put on the list, we could end up on this LIST for frequenting FR!!!! it would then be up to you to get OFF THE LIST!!! A fox news contributor ended up on THE LIST it took him 7 months to get off and he is a DC insider journalist with ALL the right connections to be able to get off the list!!! What would an EVERYDAY Joe American citizen do????

What exactly was being filibustered? The no-fly/no-buy gun rule?
The Dems are also pushing the H.R.4269 assault weapons ban, which is still in the House. Increasingly it seems like normal procedures are being violated and they may attempt a bait-and-switch. Get everybody to like the no-fly/no-buy, and then vote in HR4269 instead, without letting it proceed thru normal channels in House and Senate, where it would have multiple opportunities to be shot down.
Kind of like Obamacare, which was passed first, in order to find out what was in it.
Exactly - and that's why I believe Trump will decide that he was premature with his initial thoughts.
Still can't hurt to send him a email/tweet, etc., reminding him that he should reevaluate and realize that the Constitution has no "Noble Cause" clause, especially for the 2nd Amendment. I sent one and will send several more - being polite but firm in my wording.
