I have found the Home Depot employees to be incompetent, arrogant, entitled and unpleasant, with a customer-is-always-a-bother attitude.

And yet, near me, that's the Lowe's attitude. Home Depot employees are the ones that are polite, helpful and awesome to deal with.

Home Depot is the go-to place if you know what you want and just want to get in and out. I go to smaller, local hardware stores if I need help.

Interesting, Lowe’s is always good to me and they give me my Military discount no problem even out of state, Home Depot always argues so much about my ID that it’s a pain and a waste of time.

Yes, I think it’s the management’s overtures projected through. The worst of this is occurring in government now with Barack Obama in the projection booth.
