Women may soon be required to register for the military draft.
The Senate overwhelmingly passed a $602 billion defense bill Tuesday that included an amendment that would require women to register for the draft -- also known as the selective service -- for the first time in history.

Bad idea—women can do many things but—if all are drafted—Who will build the weapons of war? Will we buy them from China? Mexico? Maybe we could do like the Nazis did and have slaves build them in terrible factories of death?
A big war will come—history tells us this, And, yes, there will be a draft—women will be sucked in even if its in washing, cooking, nursing and logistics. Putting women in combat is a poor idea—every nation that tried it dumped the idea.It is like socialism—a good idea on paper but doesn’t work in fact.

Then the NBA and NFL should also register women for the draft - and Congress should pass laws that require it and force women to be drafted into both.
And they involve GAMES - not life and death WAR.
If women can’t actually compete in these leagues - how can any sane person expect them to compete on the battlefield?

First step in getting back to sanity if the people doing all the complaining are actually the majority of Americans who have had this liberal crap shoved down their throats.
After their daughters ARE all shipped off to boot camp,should it come to that,they will have an opportunity to vote the idiots out. Of course if women object to it so much they can join the crowd as well.

This is a good thing, and here’s why. The Supreme Court found that women could be exempt from draft registration because they were treated differently by the military and were barred from serving in the ground gaining combat arms (Infantry, Armor, etc.). Now that the Administration has foolishly opened all of military to women in spite of manifest physical differences between women and men, exemption of women from the draft is Unconstitutional. Period.
Two things are likely to occur from this. One, the draft will be eliminated, although it can certainly be reinstated if necessary in the future. Second, this insanity of pretending that women can successfully function in roles that require male bodies will go away. This is good.
The Democrats will insist that women continue to serve in infantry and armor roles and they will support draft registration for women. The Republicans can use this Democrat position against them to win more votes. Unfortunately, they will probably screw up this opportunity.
Did Obama ever register for Selective Service?
We deserve to be conquered by a more vibrant civilization.
