I give the guy a pass on this. He’s more involved with NYC business, real estate, and other ventures, than firearms. He seems to have taken a lot of his cues from his more firearms-involved sons.
But he does need an education in the area.
I am heartened that he seems to be willing to learn. The impression I get is of him saying, “I want to hear your views on this,” not “I’m gonna school those NRA types.”
Does it not strike you as odd, though, that most FReepers appear to be more informed on the Constitution and the federal government than does a man who is running for the office of President?
It seems that Trump has done little in the way of homework to prepare himself to run the country.
