“THREE THOUSAND AMERICANS were killed on 09/11! THREE THOUSAND! HOW IN THE WORLD CAN YOU COMPARE the deaths of SEVEN hoodlums at the St. Valentine’s massacre shootout to the deaths of THREE THOUSAND INNOCENT Americans?
You MUST not know ANY history. Did you go to public school?”
Try to be rational for just a few moments. Read the definition of massacre below. See that it applies to the wanton murder of helpless or unresisting people. Understand that the word does not only apply to what happened on 9/11. There were massacres before 9/11 and after. Saying that another incident was a massacre does not mean that 9/11 was not a massacre. Just because 9/11 was a bigger massacre does not mean that smaller slaughters like St. Valentie’s day and Orlando were not also massacres and it does not take anything away from what happened on 9/11. From your irrational response to anyone using the term massacre, it appears that you think the word should be retired until an incident bigger than 9/11 happens. You are free to make such a ridiculous proposal if you like, but you dont have to be an obnoxious jack@ss while doing it.
