Yes there were - on of my engineers was telling me about gunshots in celebration a few blocks from his home.
Just no murders that we know of.
That's not actually the kind of thing I was referring to. I was referring more to the downtown scene where hundreds of thousands of people filled the streets. Around here ("southside") a lot of fireworks were let off.
