A top adviser to Donald Trump resigned Monday after sending a mocking tweet about just-fired campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, a campaign source tells CNN.
Michael Caputo, a Trump adviser and head of the communications for Trump's caucus operations team, tweeted "Ding Dong the witch is dead" following the news that Lewandowski had been fired.

The caucuses were a horrific negative for Trump, with Cruz gaming the system and getting away with it. This guy can't be much of a loss.

He was referring to Corey (a guy). Either way, probably for the best that they’re both out of the picture early, although I don’t know what Corey ever did wrong.

I admire Lewandoski...he was with Trump through brutalest primary times..
Michelle Fields was not his fault...it could be he just was burned out or others wanted more turf
Trump probably had he quit for the good of the next part of the journey. But Trump is loyal...wouldnt be surprised to see Lewandoski show up later.
Might even been intended to take the focus off Trump for awhile.
