It’s simple and decades old:

Tort reform. Stop frivolous & high damages lawsuits.
Stop fraud and waste.
Eliminate duplication.
Commonize codes and forms.
Open competition & price lists.
Medical IRAs.
Healthy living credits.

Why criticize the article if you understand tax credits then?

You could also add “true portability” meaning that you get rid of all the individual state insurance commissions that mandate certain services so that no two states have the same insurance requirements.

Eliminate hospital emergency visits for minor aches and pains, colds, or any other malady that can and should be treated at the 24 hour clinics that are popping up all over the place.

I was criticizing the timing of the release of the plan and the fact that many (not all) people who clamored for obamacare never had any intention of paying for any part of it including with income taxes.

I'll bet my lunch money on it, that the first on the wagon also claimed earned income credit if they filed at all.

So? Those clamoring for Obama care would still get helath care with a tax credit plan?

I can’t stand the pubs in Congress either, duplitous bastxxds that they are.

But they have gotten the message out that there are better alternatives to Obamacare.

How about repealing Obamacare and getting out of insurance?! The federal government was never given power to regulate insurance. It was reserved to the Several States.

As mentioned in related threads, the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for INTRAstate healthcare purposes.

So what Obamacare did was to show how corrupt all three branches of the unconstitutionally big federal government are.

What the House actually needs to do is to work with the Senate to either successfully propose a healthcare amendment to the Constitution to the states so that the feds actually have the power to tax and spend for intrastate healthcare purposes, or to recognize the unique, 10th Amendment-protected power of the states to run their own healthcare programs.

Remember in November !

Patriots need to support Trump by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everyone who is in the country legally, and also surrender state powers that the feds have stolen from the states back to the states.

Such a Congress will probably also be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.

The plan is a 100% retread of the same old stuff which mostly plays with imaginary money.

The republicans need to do something that overhauls what is already in place like fix VA care, medicare, tri-care and insurance regulations.

An alternative is an outside the box solution. Let the public buy any plan available like the plans available to federal employees (FEHBP). My wife pick that up years ago and it has served us well even into the medicare years.

So your wife was a bureaucrat and you had advantages most Americans don’t.

The situation has gotten so bad for most people that they can’t take advantage of medical savings accounts or Cobras or even buy stand alone insurance. Could you if you were thrown out in the current economy with no history in a better system as you personally seem to have?

Sticking decent regs on greedy Insurance companies, allow for charitable insurance companies to compete and give tax credits seems like best solution.

You do not seem to understand tax credits. It is money you get taken right off your tax owed. Simple.

Nearly half the population pays no income tax.

So your wife was a bureaucrat

No she had to work for a living. She was a border patrol agent. You should have walked a mile in her shoes before you engaged your keyboard.

These pathetic proposals are thin gruel. I could come up with better ideas on my lunch hour.

Just in time for elections. Need to have something for campaigns.

Zero accomplishments, just for show.

Sorry to hear that. My families on both sides here, some before United States, all before 1900s would be shocked at your style and supercilious attitude about those who have not had the blessings you have had from a wife who was a bureaucrat with benefits.

You must be a newcomer.
