We have a place here called Hoosier Prairie where they do controlled burns to keep it like the “original” prairie. Meanwhile we can’t burn leaves.

My fondest desire is that the wind blows towards my neighbors whenever I fire it up.As long as it's meat that's cookin' I'd have no problem being downwind.

Everything is bad for the environment, according to science. File under the heading of "Know your Enemy!" The US Environmental Protection Agency was created to protect (surprise) the Environment. It has no restrictions other than by desire and funding. It is staffed, almost exclusively, by true believers, some of whom think that the wackos of Green Peace and Earth Defense Force are wimps!
Next, consider who/what is the EPA defending the Environment from? It is normal human activity that ALWAYS has an effect on the Environment, right? At the start, the EPA went after some real polluters, bad actors who dumped chemicals and such. Now, with most of the easy stuff behind them, how do they, these true believers, protect Mother Earth?
Starting to feel that bulls-eye yet?

We have a place here called Hoosier Prairie where they do controlled burns to keep it like the original prairie. And the natives before us burned forest land to make prairies and grasslands because they knew the game didn't eat trees.

So then we can’t be good.liberals and still go to Sammy’s Wood Fired Pizza? They have some good things there, but if we must boycott, I guess the liberals will tell us how to run our lives.

Calm down folks. The article stated that there are experts involved with this finding....and the media sure do love their experts!

burning wood to cook your trendy kale-and-feta pie or your old-fashioned Texas brisket is polluting the air we breathe. Environmentalism wants to deny man every values he seeks. It is negation of human values and nihilism.

If a liberal/Leftist can't answer your question without calling you a racist or a Nazi, everybody wins.
To our friends on the Left, one agrees that communism is in the peoples' interest and those that don't agree are racist Nazis.
Leftist politics isn't any more profound or complicated than that.

I cut thousands of trees each year, stack them all up in 2-story-house-size piles and open burn them.
Best part about it all, local governments pay us big bucks to do it.
Firewood sized logs end up being firewood. All done with machinery, to the point that the first time I actually touch a piece of firewood is when I carry it into the house.

How can my little BBQ, or everybody's BBQ's put together, be worse than thousands of acres of raging wildfires in CA?
As usual, Libs are huffing about something inconsequential.
