To: Scott from the Left Coast

The U.K. Will now break up given that the republic or Ireland and Scotland voted to remain. Shin Fein is already talking a referendum to break away from the UK and join Ireland.

Shin Fein has ALWAYS taken that position. Scotland was close, they may take that tack, but they may also find that high wire too dicey for such a backwater.

The Republic of Ireland didn’t vote (they are independent of the UK); it was occupied northern Ireland that voted to remain. Sinn Fein is indicating that since the Republic was always going to remain, maybe it is time to re-examine northern Ireland’s reunification with the Republic since England and Wales are leaving the European Union while Northern Ireland doesn’t want to.
