Regardless of what you think of Trumps inflammatory rhetoric, and his uncompromising talk of walls and bans, does anybody really doubt after this shock Brexit result that hes right about the levels of anger?
It may not be obvious to the political and media elites living in their hallowed, protected homes in privileged areas.
But travel to the north of England, or to the middle of America, and you will find very real fury with government and very real concern over the impact of perceived immigration control failures.
Theres an increasing large gulf between the politically correct cool and establishment crowd who view any publicly stated concern about border controls as racism, and those who have to live at the sharp end of it.
The clear message from this sensational day for any politician or world leader is this: ignore the concerns of the people at your peril.
Britains Prime Minister Cameron assumed, arrogantly and patronisingly, that he would win this referendum by relying on the tried and tested vote-winning issue of the economy.
But he seriously misjudged the mood of the nation.
In fact, it was immigration and getting our country back which won it for the Brexiters.
God Bless You for your service!
You know what’s crazy? I’m afraid to put that oath on my facebook timeline.
Of course, just being signed up here is probably the same thing...
Chelsea Hubble is warming up in the bull pen
You got that right, Brother!
Trump is not only going to win he’s going to win big.
The political class is so it of touch with the electorate that they can’t grasp what is going on.
This November Hillary will not merley lose, she will lose by margins not seen in nearly 30 years.
“Hillary has so much baggage that the Airline Workers of America are contemplating a strike. “
Damn, that’s a good one!!!! Salute!!!
Inflammatory rhetoric = truth
Thank you for your service!
That’s a shiver me timbers picture.....
Shhhhhh! I’ll get put on a list if you keep that up!
/s
Thanks
Doesn't someone have to be convicted of something before they can be pardoned? She's not likely to be convicted of anything in the next few months (if ever), but if in the next few years, it would be under Trumps watch. Pardon. Don't think so.
No. In 1974 Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon who had only been accused of involvement in Watergate but had never been convicted. There was no precedent for Ford's pardon but he wanted to put a halt to the affair after two years of disruption.
I'm sure that the three or four Supreme Court justices appointed by Hillary Clinton will do wonders for the Second Amendment.
yes, and Ford’s pardon of Nixon was a blanket pardon for the entire period of Nixon’s administration......
For better or worse, Ford thought it better just to try to put all Nixon legal issues in the rear view mirror and move the country onward.]
Of course, that does not mean that Shrillary should ever be considered for a pardon or that she should ever get a similar pardon for her entire term of office. The circumstances here are totally different, but alas there is a kind of precedent that Obozo could point to if he is so inclined.
The Clintoon Foundation has a lot of money. Enough transferred to an Obama Swiss account should do the trick for a blanket pardon after the election. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised by anything.
You think that Shrillary and all of her judicial picks (not only SC but down the line) could possibly be better for 2A issues or a myriad of other issues? Not to mention her awful appointments to DOJ and other executive depts.?? Not to mention her potential Executive Orders and policies...??
You don’t get to choose between Trump and some ideal candidate. It is Trump vs. Hillary, and not-Trump means Hillary!!
I think that Hojczyk makes statements, of not voting for Trump
cause he likes to have people reply to him, because he loves the exposure it gives him.
Long ago, I first took that oath, at the age of eighteen. I am now over 60. I reaffirmed said oath at various times, during the intervening years from that day, to this. Not only have I never 'untook it', as you stated, I have never been formally released from it (nor would I wish to be)...

While one would think so, logically, Ford muddied the waters, when he preemptively pardoned Nixon.

Yep - and we haven't seen any polls that allow for Brexit - the pendulum is on the move.
