The Washington Post is reporting that U.S. might not be able to follow in the U.K.’s footsteps in reclaiming its economic independence because of the nation’s demographic makeup, which is the result of four decades of record high green card issuances to foreign nationals. It may become possible to remove the economic incentives which support explosive population growth of invasive demographics. An alternative parallel strategy of fertility suppression could be imposed upon non-citizens within the borders, as a condition of temporary residence. This intervention is inherently of limited duration (typically +1 year); and, requires a periodic boost to remain effective. Applicable to both sexes as a preventive measure.

There are wildlife contraception approaches to slow the population growth of invasive species in use. There are various options developed as effective methods to curb expansion of wild pig and deer. Certain treatments can be effective for a year or more before wearing off. The handling protocols (safety) developed, based on human in-the-field accidents, are the evidence of efficaciousness in all mammalian species.
