German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said today that the EU would weather the shock of the British vote to leave the union as he convened crisis talks.
"I am confident that these countries can also send a message that we won't let anyone take Europe from us," he said heading into a meeting in Berlin of his counterparts from the EU's six founding members.

Can’t speak for the other UK users of this site, but this sounds like good old fashioned Goosestepping down the Champs-Élysées stuff to me.
They pushed the muslim invasion on Europe and now the countries are reacting and they want nothing to do with them. Merkel is such a freaking disaster the sooner they get rid of her the better.
The statement makes me wonder why we’re still spending so much money on occupying Germany, if we’re not effectively stopping Germany from its hegemonic aims. Clearly, we have fallen down on the job.

yes, and the French are panicking over Brexit more than anyone — until now there could be a “Big 3” dominating the EU, UK-France-Germany. Going forward, France will be the junior weaker partner in an EU increasingly dominated by Berlin.
No more British counter-weight to make the French able to stand up to Germany....

Germany is the only country in the EU that has a economy that ain’t in the toilet. The Germans are paying a lot of the bills & the demand to have a say in what gets done.
So when do the Europeans start forming regiments to force the UK back into the EU?
They have plenty of military age Koranimals that should repay the EU’s largesse by teaching those misbehaving British a lesson by force of arms. You sure aren’t going to find many real men of European decent that will fight. Those genes were wiped out in WWI and WWII.
They must regard the EU as a dog views a bone to be gnawed on at will.
