This IS the apostate Pope spoken of in Revelation, i.e. the ‘False Prophet’ of the Apocalypse. He will direct the world to worship the Antichrist.

I wonder if the Pope will ask all those gay priests who molested young men and boys to apologize to their victims.
The real problem is that the pope still, as many popes before him have back to Constantine, views the Roman Catholic church as the boss of the world.
Whereas these admonitions are specifically about church membership. They don’t have squat to say about non members of the church.
YES, I think the RCC has no more business than Ted Cruz in assuming the world has been given to it on a silver platter to do as it wishes.
Francis may not be so much wrong, as confused. The Roman Catholic Church has no business trying to exercise moral authority over non-members.
Pope Francis doesn’t seem to acknowledge, however, God’s Word on this matter, which has been for people’s good.
Marriage was made for people to have helpmates of the opposite sex, and to have children, who would help them and eventually take care of them.
And so-called “sexual liberation” is risky even our time of modern medicine. Before modern medicine, a society practicing sexual promiscuity - a “hook up culture” - would have brought nothing but physical misery and death.

I do have personal firearms that were blessed on the Feast Day of St Gabriel Possenti/Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows. The Blessing by our Priest here in Texas was very moving. He joked that he hoped the Holy Water would not cause any rusting.
Knowing Pope Francis, he probably means weapons used against Muslims during the Battle of Lepanto or maybe the Crusades because he seems to be an idiot.
The Church has had anti popes before and survived. We will survive this one. Just hard as the Church seemed the last refuge of the insanity going on in the world. God is testing us. Better on my watch than my children’s.
