What absolute balderdash. Trump's policy positions overlapped to a huge degree with those of Ted Cruz, who presented himself as a real conservative. Too bad he didn't have any actual principles to go along with his political principles.

In fact, with his support of TPA/TPP and the Corker Bill, it is Ted Cruz who appeared to be somewhat less conservative than Donald Trump in some cases where it really matters.

Trump's not perfect (nobody is), but it's a fact that, judging by his policy positions, he's possibly the most conservative nominee the GOP has had since Ronald Reagan.

So take your tired and factually refuted "Trump's not a real conservative" tripe and shove it. He's magnitudes more conservative than Mitt Romney or John McCain, who the GOPe insisted were the right choices in the last 2 cycles.

We finally select a nominee with some balls, and suddenly the hysterical ideological purists are wringing their hands raw, just because their anointed "conservative messiah" lost. Cry me a river...

I used to like to listen to Mark Levin but lately I simply can’t stomach him anymore. His rant today about Trump’s speech last night was pretty much the last straw. Levin is apparently more of a globalist than a patriot. He forgets that the founders were protectionists to the max and he is stupid enough to believe that “free market capitalism” actually exists in today’s global market.

He seems to be doing his best to ensure that Hillary gets to put her hand on her Satanic Lesbian Bible on January 21, 2017.

I really don't like the zotting purge that's been going on, but Trump is the rightful nominee (or will be officially) and I'll vote for him for sure (even though I was a Cruz guy).

But now, I don't see much difference between trying to replace Trump at the convention with Cruz or any other GOPe guy. The effect will be the same whether Cruz is more purely conservative or not. It will split the vote and result in the election of Hillary. Anyone who supports that might as well just vote for Hillary.

There was a mini-purge of Cruz supporters a while ago, but most of the FR nicks I didn’t recognize, and the couple of regulars that rode lightning did pretty much ask for it. Not much going on right now.

But it’s also true that FR has been declared a safe space for Trump supporters and Catholics, and while I consider that unwise, I do consider myself as a guest for whom it is bad form to insult a mostly gracious host.

Like many here on FR I’ve completely givin up on Levin. He is no conservative, he’s a fat blowhard New World Order globalist.

It is hard to believe, but can't be denied at this point. For him to even voice a lot of his current nonsense proves he has no true or honest character. "Free trade" is clearly his alter, whether it be with oppressive Communists or not.

Levin being such a sellout was a surprise, because he has historically has attacked the "chamber of crony capitalists" but these days he sounds like their #1 supporter.

Not many with agree with you on that, anymore. He claims to be a "strict constitutionalist" but then went all in supporting Cruz for President, who isn't close to being a "natural born citizen" by original Constitutional standards.

Every single program he claims he is devoted to the policies of Ronald Reagan, but then spends the majority of his airtime ranting about tariffs, when others including Laura Ingram have pointed out Reagan put 100% tariffs on Japanese computer chips, and other items like motorcycles that saved Harley Davidson.

Worst of all, Levin now routinely makes disingenuous arguments, omitting obvious well known facts in the news, that his long time listeners can easily detect as deceptive and misleading.

"Conservative" is about preserving the American ideals of the past, but Levin has recently proven he really only cares about free trade with despot regimes, and does so in such an arrogant and condescending way that even his long time supporters find it reprehensible. He is now far out on a limb, with the likes of Glenn Beck, as you never hear Levin's name from previous supporters of his like Hannity. Levin is tarnished, forever more, unfortunately, but at least we know now.

He called the caller who said tarrifs were in the constitution, "sneaky." But that is exactly what Mark has become.

The small part I listened to today, he said that despite the fact the original Constitution called for tariffs to be the primary income source for the government, since the country has since switched to an arguably un-Constiutional federal income tax, we can no longer levy tariffs against anyone since we now have the income tax. How absurd is this? And how hypocritical is that line of thinking coming from someone who claims they are a strict Constitutionalist. As outrageous as it is, Levin would rather tax Americans for income, than foreign governments for trade!

The entire political landscape will have changed by that point, Ted Cruz will be advertising on late night TV offering legal services for personal injury victims, Mark Levin will be occasionally filling in for Dr. Phil to earn enough bucks to pay his rent somewhere, violent crime will have taken a nosedive after countless criminal illegals are not only deported, but branded with a permanent "NO ENTRY AUTHORIZED INTO USA" tattoo on them in big black block letters, REAL unemployment will have dropped to around 5 percent as manufacturing jobs return to our Nation, gasoline will drop to $1.00 a gallon levels after our own oil reserves are unleashed, ISIS will be as dead as Yassir Arafat, and what will we be watching on TV?

NEW reality shows:

1.) "Traitors Condemned" - three times a week, a panel of new Trump-appointed prosecutors will present evidence before a military tribunal of the perfidy and crimes of past government officials who sold out America either for philosophy or profit, after establishing their guilt, the viewing audience will be able to vote on three possible sentences, 20 years to life, Life w/No Parole, or DEATH, broken down into sub-categories of Death by FIRING SQUAD, Death by HANGING, Death by Electric Chair, or Death by Gas Chamber. This show will quickly become the most popular and watched program in the history of Televsion, and when the special edition of MEDIA TRAITORS is aired, ratings will go straight through the roof!

2.) "America WINS!" - every week, a unit of our finest fighting men will be highlighted for their courage and bravery in dispatching our Islamic enemies to where they all claim to want to go, but they won't get there because ALL ammunition will be (you guessed it!) dipped in BACON GREASE, ditto for our explosives and other munitions targeted on the enemy.

3.) "FAIR Trade NOT Free Trade!" - Sunday mornings will be educational again, when the Trump Administration goes on the freshly fumigated networks now free of libtard bias, to explain to the American people in easy to understand terms, how FAIR trade deals with foreign countries work to benefit our Nation AND the nations we do business with. Each week, one nation will be highlighted as to why we DON'T do business with them, for example radical Islamic, terrorist supporting nations (like Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc), who treat women like dirt, violating their human rights with any and every kind of atrocious behavior. President Trump will announce each week how we are tightening the screws on such rogue nations until they either straighten up and fly right, or their tyrannies go the way of Barack Obama and his motley crew of home grown traitors. (see the epic season ending finale of "Traitors Condemned").
