As Donald Trump continues to call Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" for claiming Native American heritage, former Massachusetts senator Scott Brown -- who lost to her in 2012 -- is defending that line of attack.
"As you know, she's not Native American," Brown, an early Trump endorser, told reporters on a conference call organized by the Republican National Committee. "She's not 1/32 Cherokee."

I saw a video from FamilyTreeDNA where a man who had documented Native American ancestry still had the DNA test fail to show any Indian DNA...so the test would not be conclusive. Fauxcahontas is only claiming a small amount of Cherokee blood so it wouldn’t necessarily show up anyway. Conveniently.
Nor would I trust the lab to return the "correct" results.
The DNC & IRS would apply the proper pressures to ensure the expected results....

Agree. And anyway, these Cherokee genealogists know what they’re doing. They revealed all sorts of interesting info about Warren’s ancestors. For example, she has a forebear who helped round up Cherokee men, women and children and drive them on the brutal Trail of Tears. That’s why Warren avoided the Cherokee representatives who came to Boston to meet her. Liz knew it was all over but the crying if the genealogists could confront her face to face.
I am 1/32nd Cherokee. Have a photograph of my great-great grandmother who was half. She should take a DNA test. It isn’t that hard.

I think "alleged" is about the most charitable they could be. However leaving out an adjatiave speaks volumes--not about the story--but about the trustworthiness of the Washington Post to be open and honest with their readers rather than spinning while pretending not to spin.

I actually advocates that simple test about two weeks ago. she is not a Cherokee. She is a liar and committed fraud to get scholarships she stole from a real Indian. We call her Pocahontas. What is funny about her is she has never done anything. Not one bill to her name. She is all gums and no teeth ( as we say in the dog fight world) .
