How about letting the world use DDT and allow third world recipients of aid to use fossil fuels to obtain power?
Might get a million or so deaths back a year back from malaria and other insect borne diseases, not to mention the misery disproportionally affecting the young, and using fossil fuels to pump water, resulting in better sanitation.
But no. To these scumbags, it is more important to ban DDT and limit the use of fossil fuels for recipients of foreign aid than it is to save children.

If we tackle inequality we will in fact put more children at risk, because equality means lowering the standards, not raising them.
