How lovely!

Morning all.....

I haven’t been around much - helping my daughter on the farm and then being extremely lazy out at the cottage on Lake Erie. I have been watching all of the speeches/rallies when I get back. Still lovin’ The Donald!

Thanks for all the threads, nikos - much enjoyed and appreciated.

As I hiked around the the park, with the ocean adjacent to the trail, the plants and trees reminded me of home and Mt Leconte at near 6,000 feet in the Smokies.

Arcadia is magical. I’m going to a wedding in Wells Maine soon. It’s gay. I just got the wedding invitation with 2 bow ties. I don’t really want to go, but my mother is making me!

Good morning, nikos and FRiends. We are treated very well on our Trump train. That dining car deserves our best pajamas and of course our pearls. Looking forward to a Trump day with all of you.

No R. It's Acadia. Supposedly one of the most visited of all the national parks. There is nobody there in the winter, which is the only time I've been there.

Cadillac Mountain is the first place to view sunrise in the United States from October 7 through March 6.

I went to Acadia in the summer and it was a non stop party! Very friendly town!

Thank you cbolt, I was going to correct them, and you beat me to it.

I’ve been to Acadia so many times, I’ve lost count. We either went there or Cape Hatteras every summer for two weeks.

Acadia, and Cape Hatteras, actually used to have Park Rangers that gave talks, nature walks, campfires, etc. Not sure if that is done today. So many monetary cuts in the National Park Budget.

It's friendly in the winter too, if you fit in. Non-stop party doesn't stop for winter either ;-)

I grew up in the upper midwest, WHTC should be a giveaway, and found Maine to be magical. The geography is highly varied, even along the coastline.

You probably don’t want to go to any weddings!

Especially your own?
