Don’t forget that the last person to “visit” Amb. Stevens
was Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin. Who, by the way,
left the “Mission”, Consulate, Compound, whatever about an
hour before the attack began.
Goes with access to the Turkish port of Iskenderun — 35 miles from the Syrian border (Look up the Libyan-flagged vessel “Al Entisar” for a refresher).

I just find it hard to believe that the people we were killing would ride in to save Americans.
It makes no sense.
FTA: The Benghazi GRS team, initially comprised of only six men, would be reinforced by a second team that flew in from Tripoli overnight, but the welcome help would unfortunately not be enough to conduct a full evacuation.
The military was stopped from saving the men because it would expose the arming of terrorists by obama.
Yes, I knew that. Obama’s CYA over all else.
The Bitch & the Bastard are like the Sorcer’s apprentice. Adolescents meddling in adult things. Then there are consequences. If it happened to them, that would be one thing. But in this case it happened to some really good soldiers and citizens.
Accountability? We’ll see.
Here is another version from Russian source. Does not mention CIA operative.
“Gaddafi Loyalists Rescued Americans in Benghazi”

I always figured “stand down” was the opposite and countermand of “stand to.”
obama had parties to go to. That was more important for him.
Clinton was making money with Sid Blumenthal on a side deal.
yes
Cute, but I was referring to the way the MSM and FReepers bandy it about. The first, and ONLY, time I heard it QUOTED WRT Benghazi was from Herridge when she was reporting on what had happened in the CIA annex during the start of the first attack. After that, MSM, politicians, FReepers and everyone started attributing that term to all manner of people in all manner of circumstances.
I haven’t been following the details of this too much. But it would stand to reason that if the SecDef gave the “go” order, somebody had to say “stop” if they didn’t ever get wheels up.
