There really is not enough of them in the population nor the service to cause any problems. More symbolic more than anything as was the gay ban. This will get swept aside at later date as the military is dealing with bigger issues now.

Have a buddy who is a Commander in the Navy. He said that we are spending more time on this homo, tranny and feminist crap and bowing down to mohammadens than we are doing war stuff.
It's hurting now and is going to hurt a whole lot worse in the future.
