The US sailors who were detained by the Iranian navy last winter provided their name, rank and serial numbers -

As I remember that was OK to give the enemy that information if you were captured-also your date of birth.
But nothing beyond that.
Any military people know what the present rules are? -Tom

Name, rank and serial number....that is what I thought was allowed. However, I am a civilian so my post is pretty much useless. 😉
