“demon possessed” and needed stabbing. Maybe you. Maybe me.
Maybe a child.
That’s what we were all afraid about. Who was next? Any innocent was in harm’s way until he got into rehab or jail. We tried hard to get him into rehab, but certain things had to happen in certain order before we could have him involuntarily entered. Fortunately, one judge finally understood. Jail was the best place for him, and all of society. Otherwise, someone was going to be in a morgue. It was a very trying family time. Things are a lot better, but I fear will always be precarious because of how hard it is for addicts to stay away. He had a “come to Jesus” moment, so we are praying every day that he stays clean.
