Bubba and the Cankles were talking about grandchildren and golf ... and finalizing a deal for Loretta's reappointment as AG ... and picking up a thumb drive containing the latest FBI status reports so the Witch could prepare for her voluntary interview!

You can bet Loretta’s future government freeloader gig was brought up by Slick Willie during their Grandchildren and Golf Summit in Phoenix.

hillary keeping the AG who will probably let her off the hook? That’s just wrong. Another reason why Trump is light years better to be President....AG Chris Christie just sounds so good!

Surprise, surprise. All three of them should be arrested for this obvious case of secretly influencing the Justice Department’s verdict.

And now we know what Bubba and Lynch were talking about on that plane.

NYT says, according to The Daily Caller, “....Democrats close to Mrs. Clinton say she may decide to retain Ms. Lynch....”

This is the evidence?

“Democrats close to Mrs. Clinton” BFD (Big Freakin Deal)

Lynch already has that job. Just keeping her in it is worth her committing treason? I think an appointment to the Supremes would be more believable.

Loretta should be arrested along with Hillary and Bubba (and many others)as part of a RICO charge.

I looked for the report on the NYT’s website. Could not find it. Not saying it is not there I am saying Daily Caller should have provided a link.. :-)

That being said, I wonder what their game is? And who is behind it?

I cannot imagine the NYT’s putting pressure on Lynch to indict by suggesting her credibility is on the line if she does not indict. Agree or not (I don't), she has a “sterling” reputation from both sides of the aisle. A reputation she seems to value.

The other, more probable explanation is to put more pressure on her to take an action which will delay the entire investigation into next year, after the election.

If the latter, we know who is behind it. The issue then becomes collusion. Is someone at the NYT’s actively colluding with the Clinton camp printing reports meant to delay an active FBI, criminal investigation? I

It would be next to impossible, but if it could be proved, would there be any legal consequences? Would this fall under obstruction? Freedom of the Press is one thing; does that freedom extend to planting news stories with the intent to stop an investigation?

This reeks of desperation. By whom is anyone's guess.

=======

On another front:

The general consensus is Obama wants Hillary in the WH to protect his "legacy" (wink, wink, nod, nod). More food for thought: Keeping in mind they are pushing the "foe to friend" angle which many will buy into, he might be between a rock & a hard place. The Clintons and Obamas loathe, despise, hate each other. Hillary holds a grudge.

If she is elected the balance of power shifts. She will have access to information about Obama, we can only dream of having. She will have the power to hold over him as long as she sits in the Oval Office.

Obama's rock-do nothing to stop an indictment, and let his attorneys do whatever it takes to keep him out of it.
His hard place--spend the next 4 to 8 years worrying what she will demand of him and what she is willing to do to extract his compliance.

Doesn't have to be anything major. Could be nothing more than "Sit down. Shut up. Speak only when spoken to. Then say what I tell you to say."

Their is no honor among theives. They are not partners in crime. They are 2 separate entities. Neither camp gives a flying f about the other. Each is in it for themselves. Until now Obama has had the upper hand. That will change if she is nominated and wins.

Regardless, we are in for a bumpy ride to November.

This country was founded on the principle that all men are equal. That is no longer true. The politically well connected are no longer answerable to the law.

Makes sense. We know from 1993 that Hillary considers being a woman an absolute requirement for the post of Attorney General. Loretta won’t have any nanny problems and keeping her on avoids a confirmation battle. Anyone else Hillary would pick would be just as bad.

It occurred to me that there’s another possibility here:

The Clintons have got to know what Bathhouse Barry has set up behind the scenes for after he’s gone. Some kind of poison pill situation for his successor so that the blame will fall on them when things collapse. So Slick and Hilldawg are in this campaign to raise funds (in addition to the foreign money through their corrupt foundation) and ultimately lose the election but reap the massive financial windfall and simultaneously avoid being the one that gets the finger of history pointing at them when things go sideways.

The problem is that the media aren’t in on the plan and are doing their level best to prop up her candidacy and destroy Trump in the process. So Slick had to sabotage the Hilldawg campaign and he used the private meeting on the jet as a way to monkey wrench the momentum and potentially turn off some of the leftist sycophants in the media. Yes, the delays will still happen so no indictment will come down prior to the election (nor prior to the transition to the next president), and Hilldawg and Slick will sail off into the sunset and live out their remaining years in luxury in some non-extradition country, each with their young female lovers.

We have reached the point where government corruption is done openly, with no fear of punishment.

Nah, Lynch will get a post at the Clinton Foundation and jet all over the world making speeches arranged by Bill for oodles of money.

This sounds like bribery to me. To even bring this up at this time is extremely suspicious and STUPID, Hillary!

Is it just me or are the Clinton's so desperate to stop an inevitable indictment they are throwing a kitchen sink full of money at everyone trying to bribe their way out of it?

All of a sudden, Hussein has endorsed her and is going to campaign with her, and Bill is having private meetings with Loretta.

Lynch's response about being able to lock the door says Bubba may have gotten kicked when tried to hump her (huge) leg.
