Donald Trump raised more than $26 million for his campaign and another $25 million in conjunction with the Republican National Committee in June, a hefty haul that his campaign hopes will put to rest anxieties in the party about his fundraising prowess...

Much of the campaign's money appears to have come in during the final 10 days of the month, when Trump’s operation began aggressively soliciting money online for the first time. The Trump campaign announced Wednesday that more than 400,000 supporters made donations in June, with more than $3 million coming in just one day. That indicates that the billionaire will be able to post far larger totals in the coming months if he continues to actively urge his backers to give...

How is receiving donations now different from receiving donations then?

Again, not wanting to start a fight. Just trying to understand the change, and how primary/general relates.

Aren't you a #NeverTrump groupie?

I remember you posting that over and over and over during the primary.

I recall him saying he will fund the primaries. Some people try to twist or misrepresent every comment he makes.

Absolutely. And the Concern Trolls will continue to ply their trade. Uh oh! Have they arrived already?

Gotta love the "I just want to understand..." ploy.

No. I’m not. And that’s not relevant.

Do you want me to wear a Star of David so you can easily dismiss me?

For comparison, Mitt Romney and the GOP raised $106 million in June 2012, twice as much as we see here.

Yes but now that the RNC-GOPe has been exposed as a back-stabbing subsidiary of the DNC and Hitlery Inc., I wouldn't expect the GOP's coffers to come anywhere near it's old numbers.

Trump is directing all Super Pac money (3% of his total...) to be used for the RNC downballot, and he's either using his own money or the small donation stuff (from you and me at a few hundred a pop) for his General Election run.

That way, there is no huge contributor who can later ask for favors.

That's how this is different. N'kay?

?

Trump is a fine candidate, and I’ll vote for him against Hillary. I just don’t worship the man, like a lot of FReepers apparently do. He’ll do better than Hillary, but he’s not my sinless messiah, like a lot of FReepers portray him to be.

If you need to tag me as dangerous to your way of thinking, you’re free to do so.
