I think that’s a great point. He’s giving stock answers that are easily applied to first time or unsophisticated subjects of investigations. He should apply her knowledge of confidentiality and experience to his answers, but he can’t. If he does, it convicts her by any standard. His “caution” is letting criminal escape the justice she deserves for her crimes and giving her a chance to be president for 8 years.
I am relieved that I can finally stop thinking that Comey is “beyond reproach”, the endless talking point we were all fed for weeks now. He is most certainly reproachful, reproachable, or whatever the word is for a no integrity POS.
To convict, certainly you need proof beyond a reas. doubt. To criminally refer or even indict, you need NOTHING even close to that. Indeed, to “prove” anything, you need a jury or a judge—the referral or indictment stage clearly does not involve either.

Yes which brings into question what was really said, what decision had already been reached before the meeting. Sounds to me they never looked at what she said publicly vs under questioning
I don’t understand why so called republicans go to extremes to protect dems and their anti-American agenda. If the tables were turned, it would be a whole different story. Not only by dems but republicans who would base it on integrity.
What needed to be done was accomplished, exonerating Clinton at all cost. To Comey, this hearing is nothing more than having a root canal, after a long nasty tooth ache, it will soon be over.
I thought that was for a jury to decide not the head of the FBI

Here’s a question that I’d like to hear: ‘Director Comey, we cannot expect you to comment on the vast number of SOS Clinton’s emails that you haven’t been given access to, but in your thorough investigation of the emails you have been allowed to see, did you ever come across any references to the millions of dollars flowing into the Clinton Foundation from foreign Governments during Ms Clinton’s tenure as SOS??’
