I do agree that Santorum is a possibility.

I wrote this on another thread. Santorum fits as one who has no career to harm.

As far as veeps, it is hard to say. They have to not have a career anymore or be obsequious (e.g. Christie, Perry).

Possibilities:

Newt
Scott Brown
Christie
Giuliani
Rick Perry

If Trump nominates another liberal for veep slot such and giuliani or christy it will make it almost impossible for conservatives to hold their nose and vote for him. So far I am willing to vote for him ONLY to keep Hilary out of office. If he puts another liberal on the ticket with him, that will be harder to do. Staying home will become a real option

I agree. I posted yesterday that Santorum was the VP pick nobody was talking about. Trump is serious about PA and Santorum is from western PA. For Trump to win Pennsy, he will need to win it primarily in the western suburbs that have been devastated by poor trade deals. Also, Santorum ran a credible 2012 race, has credibility with evangelicals, could help in Iowa, Ohio and Michigan, is a bridge to the GOP without being overly tainted by them, and is close to Trump on many issues including trade. The only drawback is that he hasn’t won anything on awhile and has been out of Senate for 10 years, although Newt has been out of Congress for nearly 20 and I’m a lot more comfortable with Santorum than Newt.
