Art of the deal. We’ll see how it goes.

I can’t wait to watch that greasy face and hair, and listen to Ted’s piercing, nasal voice for an hour, non-stop!

Mistake.

“Ted” (not his real name) is a deceiver and a backbiter.

Cruz has agreed to speak at the Republican National Convention. Whether or not he even mentions Trump, he can certainly help the party’s down ticket candidates with a strong conservative message. He should be able to shred Hillary.

“Cruz told reporters Thursday that the real estate mogul offered his former primary rival a speaking slot during the meeting and Cruz accepted. “

Trump is a gracious man, offering anything to that snake.

I hope Cruz puts the good of the country first during his speech, and sets ego aside.

Well it is about friggin' time Ted.

Did I miss something? Is Cruz going to be the nominee after all? If so he could give himself a speaking slot. Otherwise that would be up to, for example, Donald Trump.

Of course Cruz could have just called up Trump and told him that he had assigned himself a speaking slot.

No, somehow that doesn't seem logical.

OK, it's late here on the top of Mt. Everest and I'm out of oxygen. Plus my WiFi is getting weak and I may not be able to post amymore today. Time to get going. I'll post again when I get back to Base Camp or Camp 6 or whatever.

Big Trump fan here.

And Trump is big enough to bury the hatchet with Sen Cruz.

Sen Cruz will apparently do likewise.

The rest of use might fall in line and bicker about somebody on the other ticket instead of our own. Follow DJT’s example. Y’know, if you want.

You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in.”

Ruh Roh... I hope you have a backup in case this snake bites!

A Cruz vice-presidency would seal the deal for Trump once and for all.

This could be a chance for Cruz to redeem himself, or to permanently bury himself, if he is not fully supporting Trump.

I hope he decides to support Trump and ask everyone else to do so. The main focus needs to be to support Trump and help him beat Hillary.

I’m glad to hear this. I have been pro-Trump all along, and hoping and praying for a Trump/Cruz ticket. While the more crass & ignorant Trump supporters among us may poopoo this idea, I admire both men for their love of Country, and continue to believe that they are adult enough to overcome differences if it means that the Republic benefits.

He’ll probably use the opportunity to officially endorse Hillary.

From what I’ve heard, the convention is not going to have the endless parade of politicians droning on and on, which will be an improvement.

Good. As a Cruz supporter, I expect him to both endorse and campaign for Mr. Trump.

Never Hillary!
