I hope burying the hatchet looks far less uncomfortable then Ted Kennedy’s half-hearted walk on-stage to shake hands with Jimmuh Carter as if he had cooties
I don’t remember whether Ted ever did let Carter shake his hand. But I remember how he made Carter follow him all over the stage, while staring out at the crowd as though Carter was invisible.
